COMMONWEALTH PLYWOOD CO, LTD
Commonwealth Plywood is a Quebec well-established dynamic company founded in 1940. Today, the Commonwealth Plywood Group of companies which is managed from its corporate headquarters located in Saint-Therese, (just north of Montreal), has grown to comprise seven rotary veneer mills, two veneer splicing mills, eight sawmills, three kiln drying operations, three plywood production mills, one flooring mill and eighteen distribution centers located in Canada and the USA. Commonwealth Plywood together with its sister companies have an annual sales volume of over $500 million Canadian, and provides employment to over 2,500 skilled workers in Canada and the USA.
主要產品
Rotary cut veneer of these different species: maple, birch and red oak. Our standard thickness is 1/36 inches (0,7 mm) and 1/42 inches (0,6 mm). Our standard dimension is 50x99 inches (1270mmx2510mm).
We produce Whole Piece (WP) and Spliced veneer (SPL).
We also produce also 1/16 inches (1,5 mm) birch and maple veneer for bent plywood chair components, skateboards, musical instruments etc.
