Century Star HNC-21MD, HNC-22MD CNC systems for turning machines adopts advanced open architecture, built-in Industrial Personal Computer (IPC), 8.4-inch or 10.4-inch color LCD display, and standard operation panel. The system integrates various interfaces for feed shaft, spindle, hand-held units, and built-in PLC, adopts high-capacity disk storage, and provides the function for USB, DNC and Ethernet program extension and exchange. HNC-21MD, HNC-22MD CNC system has the following major advantages:
1. Maximum coordinate axes: 6
2. Being compatible with various pulse command servo drive systems
3. Configured with 40 switch-value input and 32 switch-value output interfaces, in addition to standard machine operation panel
4. Integrating hand-held unit interfaces, spindle control interfaces and encoder interfaces
5. Adopting 8.4–inch color TFT display (resolution: 640 × 480), and full Chinese operation interface, providing the functions for identifying faults and reporting alarms, and displaying graphical machining paths, which enables users to easily operate the system
6. Adopting international standard G code programming, being compatible with popular automatic programming systems such as CAD and CAM, and providing functions for linear interpolation, circular interpolation, thread interpolation, fixed circulation, rotation, mirroring, tool compensation, macro programming, machining break-point restoration, backlash compensation, and single or bi-directional pitch error compensation.
7. Providing built-in RS232 communication interface to achieve data communication between computers and CNC machines
8. Providing strong machining capabilities for a maximum of 2 GB programs
9. Supporting USB for easy and storage
10. Supporting Ethernet functions for rapid program and data transmission
