The horizontal boring and milling machine WD160, model 2010, is a completely modernized machine with a new headstock from the ŠKODA Plzeň production program - the original WD 160.

BED:
- original stable iron casting
- ground guiding surfaces
- hydrostatic guiding with the aggregate assembled in the
machine foundation
- hardened ribs
- two-pinion pre-tensioned gear-box with the servo-motor
Siemens for the feed in the axis X
- linear encoded ruler Heidenhain

COLUMN:
- original stable iron casting
- ground guiding surfaces
- central lubrication of the surfaces
- ball screw + planetary gear-box with the servo-motor
Siemens for the feed in the axis Y
- linear encoded ruler Heidenhain

HEADSTOCK:
- Headstock of a new design
- Slide out-travel supported by three linear guides brand
Schneeberger
- Measurement of the slide out-travel (axis Z) by means of the
linear ruler Heidenhain
- Spindle out-travel /axis Z) measured directly from the ball
screw
- Spindle drive performed by the AC motor Siemens, output
60kW and two-stage gear-box.

A wide selection of optional accessories available:
- plate floors, rotary tables, various types of angle heads, modern tool
cooling and sectional conveyer of chips are available.
