How to replace the motor of impact crusher
When replacing the motor of impact crusher,we can follow the four steps below.
Removing the motor with a brush,we should remove the brush and DC motorfrom the brush holder,and also mark the brush with a neutral line.
We can use tools to remove the pulley or coupling on the motor shaft.And sometimes need to add some lubrication oil on the gap between shaft and pulley,so that it is easy to remove with penetration lubrication.We should wrap the shaft with a damp cloth to remove the wheel and teat the wheel rapidly,when the match of axis and roller are tight.
It is important to ensure the safety of your body when removing the rotor.When the rotor weight is not heavy,you can draw out the rotor with you hands.and can hand out,or you should pull out the motor by the lifting equipment.First,you can set the end of rotor with ropes by the lifting equipment,pulling out slowly to prevent breaking the coil circle.
For the motors equipped with rolling bearings,we should remove the bearing cover firstly,then loosen the end cap screws.And we can make marks between the cover and joints. (the two marks of two end caps should not be the same).
