On May 2012, Ekomak and Atlas Copco has signed a purchase agreement where Atlas Copco is to acquire 100% of the shares of Ekomak. Atlas Copco is in world-leading positions in compressors, and compressed air treatment systems. The company was founded in 1873 and has a global reach spanning more than 170 countries. In 2011, Atlas Copco had 37 500 employees and revenues of 9 Billion Euro. Being a part of Atlas Copco, Ekomak will be able to offer a stronger portfolio of products and services in the years to come.
