The MÜGRIP MBJ6 constitutes a systematic further development within the MBJ series with a variety of new features:
- lower production costs in combination with higher label production
- 1200 mm working width, 6 repeats
- reed width of 1380 mm
- universal rapier for an extensive range of weft yarns
- process-controlled weft feeder with reversible twist direction for S- or Z-yarns
- suspended SPE1.1 harness for reduced start-up time
- Torque motor with creep gear function and separate holding brake
- 20% less energy consumption
- 15% weight reduction

General features:
Rapier looms from the MBJ range are the world's most frequently used machines for the production of labels, pictures and technical narrow fabrics with cut slevedges. In fact, they represent the only weaving system to have been specially developed and manufactured fot this market segment.
The robust and compact design of the jacquard superstructure directly on top of the basic machine, limited machine height and minimal dead weight all facilitate the installation and operation of MÜGRIP looms in existing facilities and buildings with several storeys. Other characteristics that make thes machines interesting from both an economic an an exological standpoint include high speeds, great flexibility with regard to the label programme, short resetting times, limited maintenance expenditure, markedly reduced energy consumption and a high resale value.

Machine control: Microprocessor control with integrated LAN and USB interface; pattern store with 1 GB and 64 MB RAM memory

Dialogue panel: MÜDATA C500, integrated into the machine controls

Edge formation: TC2 cutting system, or optional TVT2 cut

Edge tying: "CANTRINA" for the uniform tension of every individual selvedge thread

Programming: MÜCAD pattern design and programming system
